Relocating to England and coping with the loneliness and alienation made Janice Fritz-Snyder gain 15 pounds. A realization of her weight and emotional problems made Fritz-Snyder embark on a fitness program, on which she lost 20 pounds, and enabled her to engage in a new exercise, running.
