Trade show wonderland

The Western Shoe Association's 1997 Spring Shoe Show showcased footwear designed for the season. Several trends for spring footwear fashion emerged, including the return of color, flip-flops and Candies. Animal-friendly shoes and those made with cork were also popular.

Why I love shoes: the highs and lows of heels

It seems that most women seldom wear high-heel shoes nowadays. Despite the discomfort, women wear heels to feel sexy and to look taller. Wearing heels, however, can be harmful to the feet, legs and back.
