Most people have many skills, some of which may have been used to earn a living and some of which may not have been used for that purpose. In planning a career change, it is important to accurately assess individual skills and determine how they can be applied to the job market.

Many correction notices from the IRS are the result of IRS errors. The taxpayer should send a prompt, straightforward response and continue to respond to subsequent notices. The Problem Resolution Office should be contacted if the notices do not stop.
