Fitting into our genes
Article Abstract:
Mutations of the BRCA1 or BRCA2 genes may be responsible for some cases of breast cancer. The secretion of BRCA1 outside the cell, rather than inside the cell, which occurs with most other cancer genes, may make treatments easier to develop. Privacy issues related to testing are discussed.
