Article Abstract:

The so-called 'Nurses Health Study' was reported in the media as proving that women who are under the average weight are healthier, but this is a misreading of the research. The study gives a fairly wide 'healthy' range, and does not take very muscular bodies into account.

The most common symptoms of premenstrual syndrome (PMS) include headaches, mood swings, fatigue, depression and weight gain. Research has shown that the types of food women consume greatly influence the occurrence and gravity of PMS.
