Article Abstract:

A study conducted by Patricia Bauer of the University of Minnesota's Institute of Child Development offers interesting insights into children's memories. She found that children do have strong memory skills and that they need a supportive context to prompt memories. The implications for parents who want to create good memories for their children are discussed.
