When work wears you out
Article Abstract:
Many of the best employees are usually the first ones to experience burnout. Burnout occurs when an employee, after working very hard for several years, feel that there is nothing more to look forward to and develops unproductive work habits. It has been believed that several factors contribute to burnout, namely, genetic predisposition, environment, experience, industry type, management and even lifestyle choices. To overcome burnout, an employee must always take some time out to break the weekday routine or just unwind.

Management experts believe that an open-book management approach to businesses is productive and effective. Providing a clear picture of the company's assets and liabilities to employees elicits better management and employee relationship. Employees tend to be more cooperative, productive and responsive when they see and feel that they are part of the whole management process.
