Why donate to NOW/PAC?

Article Abstract:

The political action committee (PAC) of the National Organization for Women (NOW) receives donations to help campaign for political candidates who it believes could serve the interests of women. It endorses candidates who support the feminist agenda of the NOW and provides them with financial support, technical assistance and political advice. It is also the largest grassroots feminist organization in the US.

NOW targets George W. Bush for defeat in 2004

Article Abstract:

The National Organization for Women's Political Action Committee announced its decision to endorse the candidature of African-American, Carol Mosley Braun for President of United States. For long women never had a say when selecting candidates for the post of the President but with this endorsement it is felt that the first step was taken in a long journey.

Getting out the vote calls for broad NOW strategy

Article Abstract:

Details regarding the two specialized projects on the 2004 agenda of NOW's drive for equality campaign, RENEW and 10 for Change are explained. RENEW (Registering and Empowering New Women Voters) focuses on mobilizing voters in key states to register and vote in the November 2004 elections.
