Women speak out on workplace Web site
Article Abstract:
The National Organization for Women has launched an online service targeting women victims of sexual harassment. The Web site features inspirational stories of women who triumphed in their fight against abusive treatments. The writers come from varied ages and backgrounds. One contributor was a high school student who had to deal with verbal abuse from a male classmate. Another contributor discussed the plight of underpaid women factory workers in Japan who were hired as a cost-cutting measure.

Offices of the year 2020 are predicted to be more decentralized and work will be done at home or in satellite offices. Telecommuting and flexible work patterns will be instituted as official office policies.
