Women's votes are key to 2004 elections

Article Abstract:

The absence of eligible voters during the time of elections is simply devastating for those who support women's rights, as they are significantly under-represented in both voter registration and getting to the polls. Women's vote for 2004 elections are vital as young women, women of color and unmarried women strongly support the women's rights message of economic justice, equality and reproductive rights.

NOW activists look ahead to '06 elections

Article Abstract:

The 2006 elections offer NOW activists the opportunity to create change in the country. NOW PAC is committed to encouraging and supporting progressive women who enter the political pipeline at all levels of political office, with more women serving in different capacities which will become easier to challenge the political opposition.

November elections a turning point for women

Several congressional races are highlighted for the 2000 elections. They include close campaigns against conservative incumbents, along with suggestions on how activists can help women's rights candidates get elected.
