This article discusses sex trafficking in the United States, which, acording to a report by the CIA in 1999, is quite common and includes 50,000 women and children from Latin America, Asia and Eastern Europe. The Trafficking Victims Protection Act has been introduced in Congress, and international conventions against organized crime have attempted to deal with this issue.

Beins surrounded by highly energetic people, together with acting as if one has energy, can boost one's energy. Self-defeating thoughts such as anxiety and hopelessness should be avoided, as these can lower one's energy levels. Other ways to increase energy, and works done on fatigue and body energy management, are discussed.
