You can afford to put your kids through college - really
Article Abstract:
College education is expensive and parents are expected to shoulder a large part of the ever-increasing college costs. However, if parents will start saving early, the responsibility will not be so burdensome. Parents must also remember that small savings are better than having no savings at all. An investment specialist or financial planner can assist them in planning for their children's future. Financial aid and tuition-reduction benefits offered by companies will also help. In addition, parents must encourage their children to work and save for their education.

This won't hurt a bit
Article Abstract:
The rising costs of education can be surmounted if parents would only learn to save money while they are still at the peak of their careers. Depositing money into a college fund, preferably in the child's or grandchild's name to realize some tax benefits, is a particularly successful financial planning strategy. Others include taking advantage of 401(k) plans and trying financing options offered by colleges and the federal and state governments.
