Article Abstract:

Delivery of the baby is a significant period in a pregnant woman's life. Labor symptoms include contractions manifested by back or lower abdominal pain, and rupture of the bag of water. Delivery starts when crowning occurs followed by the normal expulsion of fetus and placenta.

Hypnosis for labor

Article Abstract:

Hypnosis and transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation are drug-free alternatives to the use of painkillers or epidural anesthesia during labor. Hypnosis is effective but expensive, and TENS poses no apparent risks.
