Article Abstract:
Narratives of children who are caring for their parents in their own homes are presented. Tips on how to live with the elderly without having conflicts within the family are discussed. A guide when deciding whether to place them in a nursing home or not is also provided.

Canadian Olympic swimmer Sylvie Frechette showed her determination and spirit when she competed in the 1992 Barcelona Games despite a personal tragedy. A judging error in the Games placed her second. However, Frechette never lost faith in herself.
