Competitive athletes often wonder how much exercise they can safely do during pregnancy. There is little research on the topic, but most experts agree that moderate exercise if fine, as long as it does not deplete fat stores or lead to exhaustion. Heart rate monitors can help regulate the workout.

Article Abstract:

Raynaud's phenomenon is a disorder of the blood vessels that causes some people to react to cold more than others. It is estimated that 5-20% of adult females suffer from Raynaud's. Winter athletes should dress in layers and try using hand and foot warmers.
