An age-colour relationship for main-belt S-complex asteroids

Article Abstract:

A measurement of the rate of space weathering on S-complex main-belt asteroids using a relationship between the ages of asteroids families and their colours are presented. The study represented that there is an age-dependent component to asteroids colours along with mineralogical differences.

Two stellar components in the halo of the Milky Way

Article Abstract:

The existence of two different overlapping structural components in the halo of the Milky Way is discussed. The analysis reveals that the Milky Way consists of an inner and an outer halo with different properties.
