Article Abstract:
The Caribbean Economic Community, like its predecessors, may soon cease to exist. There are thirteen member countries. Many factors contribute to the organization's instability. Because of economic problems, member countries would benefit greatly from cooperating within this organization. Low sugar prices have seriously hurt the region. Tourism, however, is showing recovery.

Brian Linten, aged 66 from Austin, Texas, and who suffers from Lou Gehrig's disease, made a living will, an official document that details what kind of medical treatment he wants and doesn't want in case he becomes unable to communicate. The ways in which a living will of a person can be honored is discussed.

AIDS patient to get baboon marrow
Article Abstract:
Jeff Getty, who has been HIV positive since he was 24 years old, received FDA's approval for a bone-marrow transplant using marrow extracted from a baboon. The transplant could provide Getty's bloodstream with HIV-resistant blood cells.
