Absence of deep-water formation in the Labrador Sea during the last interglacial period

Article Abstract:

Research into Labrador Sea Water (LSW) formations is described. The study suggests that no LSW formation took place in the last interglacial. The implications of global warming for future LSW formation are discussed.

Research is presented describing the study of sea-level changes as an indicator of climate changes using spatial sea patterns and geometries which take into account sea-level trends.
