Academic accused of living on borrowed lines

Article Abstract:

A German academic is accused of committing serial plagiarism and has invented academic affiliations going back decades. A 1993 paper by Hans Werner Gottinger, which analyzed demand for spin-off technologies from Ronald Reagan's Strategic Defense Initiative, is found to be similar to a paper published in 1980 in the Journal of Business by Frank Bass.
