Effects of radiotransmitter necklaces on behaviors of adult male western burrowing owls
Article Abstract:
Necklace-style radio transmitters on breeding male western burrowing owls revealed them spending a significant time interacting with their necklaces but habituated to the presence of the transmitters within a short period not affecting survivorship or fitness in the short-term.

Desert mule deer survival in Southwest Texas
Article Abstract:
The annual survival and pregnancy rates of desert mule deer in Texas, USA are estimated and compared with March 1990 to February 1993. Use of replicated treatment areas is recommended to address compensatory and additive mortality issues.
