Bad news for sea otters

Article Abstract:

The author discusses the apparent failure of the US Fish and Wildlife Service to successfully relocate southern sea otters from their range along coastal Northern California to San Nicholas Island, near Los Angeles. Possible reasons for the otters' population decline are outlined.
