Baylor backed over 'falsified data' claims
Article Abstract:
A former neuroscientist at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, deliberately falsified research data, according to the US Office of Research Integrity (ORI). The researcher, Kimon Angelides was fired by Baylor in 1995, and has filed a suit against Baylor for wrongful termination and defamation. He has appealed against the findings of the ORI, who will withhold further government grants unless he notifies the journals of the falsifications.

Quarrel over book leads to call for misconduct inquiry
Article Abstract:
A political scientist and former journal editor has asked the US National Science Foundation (NSF) to set up an inquiry to determine whether scientific misconduct was involved in the writing of a psychological history book. Articles in the journal allege that Sulloway may have selected and manipulated data to prove his theories about how the order of birth of scientists and political leaders may have shaped their lives.
