Black bears in danger: A wild bunch adventure
Article Abstract:
An adventure of hiking in eastern Quebec's Le Plateau Park is described where three children find a dead black bear lying in the park. It was later found that poachers had killed the bear to obtain and sell its gall bladder to people who make traditional Chinese medicines and were subsequently caught for their misdeed.
