Degrees in homeopathy slated as unscientific

Article Abstract:

Several British universities are offering bachelor of science (BSc) degrees in alternative medicine, including degrees in homeopathy. Some scientists are concerned that such degrees provide homeopathy with undeserved scientific credibility, although homeopaths involved in the courses argue that they teach students evidence-based scientific principles.

Many Iraqi academics who fled to the United Kingdom after Iraq's invasion are finding life tough in the U.K. Rigid immigration laws, no paid jobs on being asylum-seekers and the lack of acknowledgement in the U.K. for their qualifications and experience are leaving them facing an uncertain future.
