The expression domain of PHANTASTICA determines leaflet placement in compound leaves

Article Abstract:

The study conducted on the simple and compound diverse leaf forms are presented. The downregulation of PHAN is sufficient to reduce the adaxial domain of leaf primordial, and to change the pinnate compound leaves to palmate compound leaves is demonstrated.

Horizontal prion transmission in mule deer

Article Abstract:

The incidence of chronic wasting disease (CWD) in a captive mule deer that is attributable to horizontal or maternal is compared. The results of the study indicate that horizontal transmission is likely to be important in sustaining CWD epidemics.
