Evaluating residual tree patches as stepping stones and short-term refugia for red-legged frogs
Article Abstract:
The effects of harvesting on amphibians are studied. Results conclude that variable-retention harvesting can benefit amphibians by providing temporary refugia as well as residual trees should be retained in groups and not as individual its patches should be between 0.8 ha and 1.5 ha.

Article Abstract:
The influence of ecological factors on detecting drumming ruffed grouse is presented. Results concluded that detecting a grouse was strongly influenced by the change in temperature.
