Evolution of leaf-form in land plants linked to atmospheric CO2 decline in the Late Palaeozoic era
Article Abstract:
Research is presented concerning the evolution of megaphyll leaves and their importance in the sequence of land plant evolution. The impact which these plants had on the levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide is discussed.
