Female competition in wild house mice depends upon timing of female/male settlement and kinship between females
Article Abstract:
The effects of different situational or social determinants on the regulation of female-female competition are studied. The findings indicate that the timing of the male/female settlement in a deme determines the level of female competition, which, in turn, affects the resulting mating pattern.

Cage color preferences and effects of home cage color on anxiety in laboratory mice
Article Abstract:
The color preference behavior of 72 mice was studied, caging them in red, black, green and white ages. Five weeks later, when allowed to choose cages, they displayed their color preferences by choosing their preferred cage.

Monogamous male mice bias behaviour towards females according to very small differences in kinship
Article Abstract:
Research determined that mice seem to prefer to mate with females that are less-related to them. Previously, research had not determined mating preferences were based on any differences in kinship.
