Humane education: charting a new course

Article Abstract:

The Center for Compassionate Living is actively engaged in promoting its Humane Education program in schools. The program is intended to inculcate morally consistent lifestyle choices regarding animals in students as well as environmental and human rights issues.

Article Abstract:

The Humane Education Committee is offering humane science awards to New York City students for projects that will meet the committee's standards for a humane science project. The required criteria was devised by the New England Anti-Viviction Society.

Article Abstract:

Advice is offered on how to become an effective humane educator through preparing a presentation and making contact with schools. In this way, children can learn how to relate to other species in a compassionate way.
