Survival and cause-specific mortality of mature male white-tailed deer
Article Abstract:
The annual survival rates of mature white-tailed Deer are estimated and the cause-specific mortality, rates, sources and timing of mortality are determined. Good rainfall, supplemental feeding and good pasture conditions contributed to higher survival rates in mature male white-tailed deer.

Synchrony in a wild turkey population and its relationship to spring weather
Article Abstract:
The results from the visual inspection of time series in the wild turkey fall harvest suggest that populations might be synchronized in some years when weather promotes high reproductive success and asynchronous in other years.
