MAXO signals: A new and unfortunate solution to the Fermi paradox

Article Abstract:

Interdisciplinary teams have invested substantial effort in object frequency analysis, parsing, symbolic encoding and signal processing since the publication and confirmation of the first microwave artefact of xenobiological origin (MAXO), and the subsequent detection of similar signals. They have formulated an explanatory hypothesis that cultural variables unfamiliar to the majority of researchers might account both for the semantic ambiguity of the MAXO payloads, and the non-appearance of aliens.

Ambassador for earth: Is it time for SETI to reach out to the stars?

Article Abstract:

The community involved in the search for extraterrestrial intelligence known as SETI might provide new insights into the natural world and a means of communion with alien creatures. The arrangement within the SETI community is already made to pick up signal from beyond, but the Valencia meeting voted against trying to set up any processes for deliberating over the style or content of any spontaneous outgoing messages.

Message in a bottle

Article Abstract:

Discussion on the efficient delivery of long messages sent in form of material objects effectively in a bottle is presented. It is stated that a fundamental problem in searching for extraterrestrial intelligence is to guess the communications set-up of the extraterrestrials who might be trying to contact us.
