Mullett: Spatchcock of the sea

Article Abstract:

The Sea Mullet, with silver belly and olive-green back is one of the few fishes to have a gizzard, with a maximum size of 76 cm and weight of 8 kg usually found in between extremes of fresh and saltwater, and in Australian coastal waters and estuaries (except Great Australian Bight and western Taps). The adult (3 years old) sea mullet leave estuaries and spawn along coastal beaches between March and July and lives up to nine to ten years.

Silverfish for lucky lips

Article Abstract:

Silverfish is a soft, semi-flattened, cone shaped organism that belongs to the order Zygentoma having around 470 species worldwide and around 34 species in Australia. This group of organisms is about 100 million years older than the dinosaurs and resembles the first insects that ever lived.
