Planets are round will that do?

Article Abstract:

The International Astronomical Union (IAU) has attributed a new definition to the planet which defines the planet as any body in orbit around a star that is not a star itself nor in orbit around a much larger planet, and that is massive enough for gravity to have squished it into an approximately spherical shape. , Most objects with a mass greater than 5 by [10.sup.20] kilograms, and typically with a diameter greater than 800 kilometers, would qualify as planets as per the new definition.

'You can't have a mission without a camera'

Article Abstract:

Details of the Venus Monitoring Camera (VMC), used to study the highest clouds around 70 kms above the planet's surface, are presented. The rest of the equipment for the Venus probe were those reused from Mars Express and the comet mission Rosetta, but VMC was specially developed for this mission, since a camera is essential for such a mission, which enabled ultraviolet images of Venus's clouds.

Physicists plan search for the known unknowns

Article Abstract:

Physicists are looking for experiments that can be used for hunting flaws in the Albert Einstein's general theory of relativity. They are attempting to test general relativity's predictions about unusual cosmological events, such as mergers of black holes, by detecting gravitational waves.
