Condition, survival, and cause-specific mortality of adult female mule deer in north-central New Mexico
Article Abstract:
Starvation among deer resulting from drought and long-term changes in plant communities and precipitation during mid to late gestation were revealed as the main factors affecting survival and cause-specific mortality in female mule deer.

Fisher survival in eastern Ontario
Article Abstract:
The survival and cause-specific mortality of a harvested fisher population in eastern Ontario in 2003 and 2004 estimated through radiotelemetry data to assess the possibility of recruitment to balance mortality is reported.
