Author of anti-encryption program faces jail

The Federal Bureau of Investigation arrested Dmitry Sklyarov, a Russian graduate student in computer science, at the Defcon-9 conference of computer scientists and hackers. He faces a felony charge of violating the 1998 Digital Millennium Copyright Act with his Advanced eBook Processor program.

Ivory carvings are said to be the oldest known examples of figurative art. The age of figurines such as the lion man can be traced back to around 30,000 years with the help of carbon dating.
