Article Abstract:

The reproductive cycle of Red-crowned Toadlet (Pseudophryne australis), the bright colored frog found in the sandstone region of Sydney Basin, is discussed. Red-crowned Toadlets spend much of their time under leaf litter, becoming most active when it is wet, and making short calls to attract the females and to warn off the competitors.
