Structural equation modeling for observational studies

Article Abstract:

Structural equation modeling (SEM) is collection of procedures where biologists can evaluate complex hypotheses against multivariate data. Few example applications of SEM, one involving interactions among lynx, mongooses and rabbits and the second involving anuran species richness, are illustrated.

Cover pole design for easy transport, assembly, and field use

Article Abstract:

A study was carried out to ascertain the success of using cover poles to measure vegetation in wildlife and livestock management. Results showed that cover poles were convenient as a single person could carry out the entire operation.
