Superconductivity two decades on

Article Abstract:

Twenty years after physicists discovered superconducting material in 1987, progress in this field has slowed down. The working of the superconductive material is still not known completely and not much progress was made in increasing the operating temperature of the material.

A hidden pseudogap under the 'dome' of superconductivity in electron-doped high-temperature superconductors

Article Abstract:

High-Tc superconductivity is explored, socusingon support of the presence of a quantum phase transition at T+0. The data concludes that the physics of High-Tc superconductors is determined by incteraction between coexisting and competing ground states.

A universal scaling relation in high-temperature superconductors

Article Abstract:

Universal trends and correlations amongst physical quantities are used as a clue to find the origin of the super conductivity. The Uemura relation is tried as it works well for underdoped materials.
