Article Abstract:
The role of humans in warming Earth's climate, since the industrial revolution as agreed by most scientists, is discussed. One of the scientists has even claimed that involvement of humans in climate change began thousands of years earlier and has led to more than twice as much warming as previously estimated.

Climate change has attracted interest for many generations. In the Middle Ages, climate change was regarded as a natural process, while by the 18th and 19th century attention focused on the impact of deforestation and other types of land use.
