The mystery of female beauty

Article Abstract:

Waist-to-hip (WHR) and waist circumference are positively linked with testosterone and negatively linked with oestrogen. Data from a rural Jamaican population shows a positive association between a woman's waist circumference and her number of sons, and a high WHR was linked with a marker for high testosterone in the children. This agrees with data from England and Texas and may well be universal.
