Will medics' qualms kill the death penalty?
Article Abstract:
The US judges acknowledge that lethal injections could be a painful way to die, as 43% of the executed prisoners might be conscious, as the person administering the injection is not trained properly. Nearly all the US MDs and PhDs object to helping with executions as it violates their ethical oath and erodes public trust.
