U.S. Attorney's Office proves fraud behind fake advertising company

Article Abstract:

The Distric Attorney's Office has proved in court that Jupiter Advertising Inc was used as front for money laundering, mail fraud and related crimes by Klaus Reinke and two co-conspirators. The advertising firm was established in 1994 for a legitimate purpose of soliciting ads and collecting ad revenue for the car show newspaper 'Wheels.' However, after the newspaper was published in early 1995, Jupiter Advertising was no longer used for advertising, but rather for collecting referral fees and kickbacks.
