Nassau Broadcasting awarded contract from NY/NJ Port Authority

Article Abstract:

Nassau Broadcasting Partners LP and its affiliates received an exclusive five-year contract from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PATH) to provide news services and advertising marketing sales in all 13 stations of PATH. Under the contract, Nassau Broadcasting will provide headline news, financial reports, weather, sports, advertisers' message and PATH service message on PATHvision, the intranet-based broadcast system transmitted to PATH's 175 monitors that cover 37 viewing zones.

Nassau Broadcasting appoints director of new business development

Nassau Broadcasting Partners LP of Princeton, NJ, has announced the appointment of Richard J Lorenzo as Director of New Business Development for the Non-Traditional Revenue and Internet department. Lorenzo was more recently the project director of new business development for Cahners Business Information division RR Browker. The company owns and operates 21 AM/FM radio stations throughout New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania and western New York state.

Nassau radio withdraws IPO

Article Abstract:

Nassau Broadcasting Corp, based in Princeton, NJ, withdrew its planned initial public offering and will reconsider an offering when market conditions improve. According to company spokesperson Judy Brenna, the decision does not jeopardize Nassau Broadcasting's present plans and business activities. The radio broadcasting company operates 11 FM and 10 AM radio stations catering to midsized affluent suburban markets of the northeastern US.
