A proper time and place

Article Abstract:

Tillers International was founded to promote animal-powered agriculture for developing countries and to conduct research on animal power technology to enhance its efficiency and productivity. Governments often regard animal power as outdated. In the process, they fail to realize that it can be harnessed to raise living standards and limit their plans to costly equipment imports. Draft animals can generate up to 150 million horsepower and plow half of global agricultural lands.

The Don Estridge High Tech Middle School may be the world's most gadget-laden campus, pumped up with electronics for pedagogy, connectivity, and surveillance. The composite classroom shows some of the highest-technology equipment spread throughout the facilities.
