Digging under Beantown

Article Abstract:

The life of Ellen Berkland, a professional archaeologist of Boston city who is in this profession for more than eighteen years, who had started her digging career at a very early age in backyard built by her father is described. She is of the view that archeology was not a formal part of the state or municipal curricula but TV, movies, magazines, websites and books have made it more popular and accessible to public.
