Extreme sport: once the game of Maya kings and Aztec warriors, ulama lives on in the dusty playing fields of western Mexico

Article Abstract:

The description about the game ulama-de-cadera or ulama at western state of Sinaloa is presented. According to the excavations done by archeologists, many evidences were found which state that, it is a game as old as the fourth century A.D.

Diving the Maya underworld

Article Abstract:

An exploration of one of the 2,500-odd cenotes, on whom the Maya underworld of the Yucatan state depends, is depicted. A half-exposed skull of a child and an upside-down cranium of an adult were discovered.

Cenotes of sacrifice

Article Abstract:

The rituals of sacrifice performed at Maya in the sixteenth century are studied. Chichen Itzas Cenote of sacrifice was a center of ritual activity in the Maya world.
