Mythic visions

Article Abstract:

The invention of the art of yarn paintings by the Huichol Indians of north-western Mexico is discussed. One of these paintings titled 'Mystic Visions: Yarn Paintings of a Huichol Shaman' is a new exhibit at the museum.

Chaco world: the bluff great house

The Bluff Great House, a great house on the northern Southwest in New Mexico is described. This communities relationship with Chaco Canyon, in the southeast is discussed.
