The rape of Batan Grande

Article Abstract:

The excavation and sale of ancient treasures from the Sican burial ground of Waka Loro in Batan Grande,Peru, by the Aurich familiy are discussed. The efforts of archaeologists to save the treasures still remaining at the site are described.
