Article Abstract:

A directory lists ongoing archaeological excavations in Northern Europe, including a description of each site, directions for getting there and contact information. Sites recommended by archaeologists are listed for the United Kingdom, Ireland, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, the Republic of Georgia, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Sweden and Ukraine. Many sites are open to the public daily, but some require appointments.

Travel guide: South and Southeast Asia

Article Abstract:

Ongoing archaeological excavations open to the public are listed for South and Southeast Asia. Listings are by country, covering Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka in South Asia; and Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar (Burma), the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam in Southeast Asia. A total of 35 sites are described, with information on how to get there, availability of accommodations, and who to contact for each site.

Many of the sites are open to the public, but others require making special arrangements in advance.
