The plan involves a 2.2 million-square-foot multi-building project where Sony and others will have their offices. The plan also provides for places of relaxation, and the complex will employ sophisticated technology for advertising. The project is expected to be ready in 1998.

The Collins residence in Oakland, CA, is situated in the same site occupied by a house that got burned. However, the new house features an improved spatial flow, and redwood has been replaced with lighter-toned cedar. The interior daylight was increased by enlarging the clerestory windows. The private rooms are located on the lower level while the public ones are in the upper level.
